Eating Out

Chilling at the Big Chill

Big Chill

I stumbled across Big Chill in Kings Cross by accident last year when I was early for a meeting and needed somewhere to grab a cuppa. Big Chill is a bar and event space centred on the music, the people and the good times. It is a place where you can can have breakfast meetings, lunch, dinner and drinks in the evening with friends.

The downstairs is spacious and has tables and chairs dotted across the room as well as a breakfast bar facing the window so you can people watch as well as a booths where you can get cosy. The staff are friendly, they like you to feel at home whether you are working, playing, eating or drinking.

Big Chill

I liked it so much that I came back with Vesta from Chocolate n Curves where we ordered dinner and a cocktail or two. That was when we discovered the roof garden and let me tell you, this place really comes alive in the summer.

The roof garden is south facing and you can see all the views of North London. Surrounded by large leafy plants it is the perfect oasis to drink in the sunshine while you are downing something cold.

Big Chill also have a venue on Brick Lane in case you are in that area.

For more information, please visit their website.

I’ve never been on a roof garden but my husband has. If I was lucky enough to be visiting London again soon I’d be tempted to visit there just for that experience.
