The festive season might be over but my desire for Baileys still continues. I love the Original but this year I discovered the Baileys Chocolat Luxe and my is it to die for.
It is made with luxurious Belgian chocolate, Irish whiskey, and cream which results in a rich chocolate drinking experience that is pure heaven for a chocolate lover like me. The first taste is of dry, crumbly chocolate and ends with dark, rich roasted cocoa.
The Chocolat Luxe was created to give those who drink her the same multi-sensory experience of eating a piece of chocolate. The words, decadence and indulgence come to mind after sipping this little treat.
For those of you who don’t know, Baileys have been around since 1974 and was created in Dublin by David Dand. He had a vision for something new and unapologetically luxurious. Inspired by the sense of change in the air, he dreamt of creating an innovative and utterly indulgent liqueur. So began his mission to create the Baileys recipe: an unashamedly delicious blend of two of Ireland’s most delicious ingredients – rich dairy cream and the finest whiskey.
If you are a Baileys fan and love your chocolate then you will be a fan of this.
Baileys Chocolat Luxe is priced at £12.00 for 50cl. You can buy it from their website, amazon, ASDA, Morrisons, Ocado and Waitrose.
