The CACI Ultimate Facial

I was offered a complimentary CACI Ultimate Facial at the Four Seasons. The CACI Facial is a pioneering treatment that uses the latest forms of technology that stimulates your facial muscles and tones your skin. The award winning treatment contains Microdermabrasion which is a two part light cosmetic procedure that gently remove dead skin cells. A machine based suction is used to gently lift up the skin during exfoliation. It has become very high profile with celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Linda Evangelista, Lisa Snowdon, Martine McCutcheon, Michelle Collins and Barbara Windsor using it. The fact that it is used for anti-aging makes it very popular with the A listers. When I arrived at the Four Seasons I was greeted by the staff and taken to the reception area where I was given a welcome drink which was a herbal infusion. After that I was introduced to the manager who kindly gave me a tour of the place. The Four Seasons is as plush and elegant as I expected it to be and the service is 100% first class.

I was led into into a spa room that looked very tranquil except that it had a machine which was similar to the ones that you see in a hospital. It turned out to be The CACI machine which has various nozzle attachments for microdermabrasion, ageing, problem skin and wrinkles. The beauty therapist took me through the process and I must admit that I was very apprehensive when I saw all the equipment but she assured me that it would not hurt. The first step was to apply exfoliator to my skin to prep it then use serum filled cotton buds stencils to gently manipulates my facial muscles. The objective was to tighten and tone the muscles on my face. It felt strange at first, rather ticklish but I got used to it after a while. Then we moved onto the Microcurrent section where a wrinkle comb applicator which combined high frequency and photo stimulation to firm and tone sapping facial muscles and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. This step felt quite painful so I asked her to stop halfway through – I know I am sure a wuss but my pain threshold is extremely low. Next was the Microdermabrasion which was a special skin peeling handset that removed dead skins by pressing the device on different areas of your skin. Finally a soothing moisturising mask was applied with the eye and mouth slots cut out and active micro-current rollers went over it gently massaging my face. The point of this was to cause the mask to become electrically charged so that my whole face is bathed with rejuvenating energy. I must admit that bit felt good. After my treatment I was led to a relax and chill out area where I sat back into a recliner area with healthy snacks. The CACI Facial initially left me feeling very relaxed and my face feeling very soft. Over a week later and my face still has that soft feel but with a vibrant and glowing appearance.

The cost of the CACI Ultimate Facial is £105.

Visit the Four Seasons website for more information on the CACI Facials.

Thanks a lot to Pure PR for arranging this treat for me.

Great post & this sounds amazing. You’re definitely lucky for experiencing this.
I’ve read a lot about CACI facials and I really want to try one for myself. I wouldn’t say I need anti-ageing yet but still, nice to start early. I like the idea that the results last a long time too.

Here in the Midlands area they are a little bit cheaper than London prices too. When my skin is clear of acne for longer than 5 minutes I will book in for one.
