Here are some do’s and don’t's on how to work with me.

Do’s

Do treat me, as a blogger as you would any member of the mainstream media.

Do make sure that your pitches reflect the ethos of my blog, I am bombarded by emails on a daily basis, so it helps if your pitch is relevant.

Do read my blog, especially the ‘About Me’ section. I often get invites to wonderful events in New York or Los Angeles which is great except that I am based in England. Do be transparent and clearly disclose who you are and who you work for in your email and what you want to get out of the relationship.

Do have a selection of images to offer me if I do decide to write about your product.

Don’ts

Don’t expect something for nothing. My blog is based on my experiences at events and with products so if you would like me to feature your brand then I will require a sample of the product or access to the event.

Don’t pretend to have read my blog if you haven’t.

Don’t refer to me as ‘Dear Blogger, Dear Internet person or worse ‘Hey there.’  My name is Ronke Adeyemi.
